MUST SEE: Angels' Hunter Renfroe Makes Incredible No-Look Catch

Hold onto your hats, baseball fans, because the 2023 season has already produced an absolute stunner of a play!

Los Angeles Angels' right fielder, Hunter Renfroe, stole the show with an unbelievable no-look catch that left everyone's jaws on the floor, in his first game as an Angel too.

Oakland Athletic's Jace Peterson hit a deep fly ball towards Renfroe, but the wind had other ideas and sent it spinning towards right-center.

But Renfroe was not one to be deterred, he spun around like a top, threw his glove out and snagged the ball behind his head and backwards. Talk about acrobatics!

Renfroe's catch was so incredible that even he didn't see it. But he played it off like a pro, claiming he had the whole thing planned out in his head. His teammates were all high-fives and smiles after the play, and even the opposing team looked on in awe.

The crowd went wild, and even Angels superstar Shohei Ohtani threw his hands up in excitement at Renfroe's amazing catch. And it wasn't just a one-time lucky shot - Renfroe regularly practices making trick catches during batting practice. Who knew?

“I thought it was going to be a hit, 100 percent,” Ohtani said through an interpreter. “But he just kind of threw his glove out there. I was happy to see it.”

“I’ve never seen anything like that from my view,” Trout said. “I don’t know what was going on. I saw the replay in the dugout. It was pretty incredible.”

This is the new bar we'll be measuring all incredible catches against this season. If you missed it, be sure to check out the highlight. It's a play you won't want to miss.
