Athletics Outright Infielder

The Oakland Athletics have sent infielder Sheldon Neuse outright to Triple-A Las Vegas.

Neuse was designated for assignment on Saturday, and went unclaimed on waivers. He'll remain with the Athletics organization for now as extra infield depth.

Neuse has slashed an ugly .212/.262/.296 triple slash line, with seven home runs and seven steals in 420 plate appearances since 2019.

This season, in the majors, the twenty-seven-year-old has slashed .214/.273/.561, with four home runs, 26 RBIs, six stolen bases and 25 runs scored across 271 at-bats.

In the minors this season, Neuse has slashed an impressive .398/.407/.1,018, with five home runs, 20 RBIs, two stolen bases and 14 runs scored over 108 at-bats.
