Brewers & Guardians Swing 4-Player Trade

The Milwaukee Brewers and Cleveland Guardians have swung a four-player trade. Depth pieces Bo Naylor and Codi Heuer go to Milwaukee, while Cleveland receives reliever Craig Yoho and Blake Perkins, the latter of whom will be sent to Triple-A.

Yoho, in just 20 innings for Milwaukee, has posted an impressive 3.15 ERA and 0.85 WHIP. The Guardians needed a right-handed bat, and Perkins is a switch-hitter who is better from the RH side.

Naylor, after a promising rookie year in 2023, has been unable to get his average over the Mendoza Line since, with an OPS in the low .600s. 

Heuer came up as a reliever with some high-leverage potential a few years back, but injuries and underperformance have held him down since.
