Breaking: Carlos Santana Signs as Free Agent with NL Contender

 

He was cut loose from the Cleveland Guardians last week, but it only took veteran first baseman Carlos Santana a few days to hook up with a contender, as he’s signed a deal with the Chicago Cubs, per insider Jon Heyman. 

Santana is a 16-year veteran and former All-Star, with 335 career homers and an on-base percentage of .352.
