The Arizona Diamondbacks get three of the M's top 20 prospects in the deal:
- 1B Tyler Locklear (Mariners’ No. 9 prospect)
- RHP Hunter Cranton (No. 16)
- RHP Juan Burgos (No. 17)
Suarez brings his 36 home runs to a Seattle lineup that already includes the major league leader in bombs, Cal Raleigh, with 41.. In addition, the M's also added another proven bat at first base earlier in the week, in Josh Naylor.

"I feel so amazing. I felt good, even going into today -- but even better, now that Geno is here. That's no knock any guys that are in the clubhouse right now. It's just how good Geno is."
Front offices around the league were horrified back on Monday when Suarez was hit on the right hand by a fastball and left the game in pain. But X-rays, a CT scan and an MRI all came back clean.
The Mariners, in particular, are breathing a huge sigh of relief.
Seattle is 57-52, holding a Wild Card spot in the AL, tied with the Texas Rangers, and both 5.0 games back of the Houston Astros atop the AL West division.
The Mariners, with their vastly improved offense to go with an elite pitching staff, and now a team to be reckoned with down the stretch.
