Chicago Cubs Activate Former MVP From The Injured List

The Chicago Cubs got off to a hot start in 2023, but in recent times, they've been on a major slide, and that can be attributed to a number of reasons, with one being the injuries they've suffered, by now, they've received some great news.

On Thursday, the team officially activated former National League MVP Cody Bellinger, and in his return game, he is currently 1-3 with an RBI as the team look to continue their turn around following wins in 5 of their past 6 games.

With some key free agent signings this off-season, the Cubs are a team that have the talent on the field to compete, but until they can find consistency, they will struggle in a very tough NL Central division, but with Bellinger's return and the form of the pitching staff, things are looking up.
