Boston Red Sox Rumors: 3 Possible Landing Spots for Adam Duvall

Adam Duvall has been off to a scorching start with the Boston Red Sox. In his first six games in Beantown, the 10-year veteran has three home runs, 12 RBIs, and a .458 batting average. This is great to see from the former All-Star, as he came into this year as a bounce-back candidate. If he keeps this up and the Red Sox are not a playoff team by the deadline (which is expected), he will be a prime trade candidate for them. As a result, let's go over three teams who could target him.

Chicago Cubs: The Chicago Cubs are looking to be a playoff team in 2023. As a result, they should be looking to add a bit more offense to their roster, and Duvall would be a good addition to their group because of it. Therefore, if they are still in the hunt as we inch closer to the deadline, look for them to try to add Duvall.

Atlanta Braves: Duvall spent five years with the Atlanta Braves during his career and was with them just last season. Although he had a rough 2022 season, they could be open to bringing him back when noting that they need some help in their outfield. If he can keep this kind of play up, expect them to consider reuniting with him.

New York Yankees: Although the Red Sox and New York Yankees are heated rivals, they have made deals in the past. If the Red Sox end up dropping in the standings, they could explore moving him to New York if they receive a good offer for him. Keep in mind, Duvall is a pending unrestricted free agent and would be nothing more than a rental.
