MLB Rumors: 2 Potential Landing Spots for Didi Gregorius

After a rough 2022 season, veteran infielder Didi Gregorius finds himself without a home with Opening Day right around the corner. However, when noting that he is an 11-year veteran with a strong resume, things could change on that front shortly. As a result, let's discuss three possible landing spots for the 33-year-old.

Los Angeles Dodgers: With Gavin Lux done for the season, the Los Angeles Dodgers could use more depth at shortstop. As a result, Gregorius stands out as a possible free-agent target for them. At worst, he would give them another possible option to work with, and could be a short-term fix.

Boston Red Sox: The Boston Red Sox could also use another shortstop before Opening Day. Keep in mind, Trevor Story is sidelined long term, while they lost Xander Bogaerts through free agency. Therefore, having Gregorius as a backup option would not be a bad thing in the slightest.
