Colorado Rockies Option 2 Players

The Colorado Rockies have made some changes to their roster, as they have optioned both Nolan Jones and Noah Davis to Triple-A.

Jones' demotion is one that not too many people saw coming, as many believed that he would have a spot on their Opening Day roster. However, the Rockies have decided to send him down to Triple-A instead. The 6-foot-4 outfielder was acquired by the Rockies from the Cleveland Guardians this offseason. In 28 games last season with Cleveland, he had two home runs, 13 RBIs, and a .244 batting average.

As for Davis, his demotion was a bit more expected. After all, the 6-foot-2 righty is still working on his craft. The 6-foot-2 reliever appeared in his first MLB game last season, where he allowed two earned runs in 1.0 innings pitched. We will need to wait and see if he can earn himself a call-up at some point during the regular season from here.
