Chicago Cubs Sign Pitcher

The Chicago Cubs have made a move, as they have signed Curtis Taylor to a minor league contract.

Taylor split this past season with Single-A+, Double-A, and Triple-A, where he had a 2-2 record to go along with a 3.91 ERA. However, he spent the majority of the campaign in Triple-A, where he had a 1-1 record and 4.08 ERA in 27 games. Overall, it was a year of mixed results for him, but now he will be aiming to find more consistency with the Cubs organization from here.

Taylor will be beginning his time with the Cubs down with Triple-A Iowa, but if he impresses, it could open the door to him receiving a call-up at some point during the year. Alas, we will need to wait and see what happens with the 27-year-old righty from here.
