Minnesota Twins Sign Pitcher

The Minnesota Twins have added to their pitching depth, as they have signed Parker Bugg to a minor league contract.

Bugg spent this past season split between Triple-A Jacksonville and Double-A Pensacola. In 30 games split between the two Miami Marlins affiliates, he had a 2-1 record to go along with a 3.33 ERA. Overall, he had himself a solid campaign, and now he will be aiming to translate that success over to the Twins organization in 2023.

Although Bugg is not a star pitcher, he could have a chance of making the Twins' roster at some point during the year if he does well. Alas, at a minimum, he simply will provide the Twins with another reliable reliever in the minors.
