San Francisco Giants Sign First Baseman

The San Francisco Giants have made a minor move, as they have signed Ronald Guzman to a minor league contract.

Guzman was once a notable prospect and had previous success in the majors. During his first two years with the Texas Rangers back in 2018 and 2019, he hit 26 home runs in 200 games. However, he was never able to replicate that kind of success since and has primarily been in the minor leagues because of it. He appeared in three games with the New York Yankees last season, where he had five strikeouts in six at-bats.

Guzman is heading into this upcoming season with the goal of bouncing back and getting his career back on track. Let's see if joining the Giants can help him do just that.
