MLB Rumors: Minnesota Twins Making Push for Mets Starter

The New York Mets have immense pitching depth due to their offseason of spending. However, this also likely means that a starter could be on the move, and David Peterson stand outs as the most likely to be dealt. Interest in his services is starting to increase, too, as the Minnesota Twins have him on their radar.

The Twins are looking to become favorites of the AL Central, but it is clear that they would be wise to make more additions before the offseason is over to help their chances. Their rotation could definitely use another arm or two, so it makes a lot of sense that Peterson is somebody they are making a push for.

Peterson lost his spot in the Mets' rotation last season, but he was still effective. In 28 games, he had a 7-5 record to go along with a 3.83 ERA. Let's see if the Twins end up acquiring him from here.
