MLB Rumors: Washington Nationals & LA Angels Talking Trade

The Washington Nationals are in a rebuilding period and are in a position to take a chance on young players. As a result, it is not too surprising to hear that they are being viewed as a potential landing spot for Los Angeles Angels outfielder Jo Adell.

Adell is viewed as having a lot of potential, but the Angels' outfield depth is making it hard for him to become a full-time MLB player. Furthermore, he struggled at the plate this past season, as he had a .224 batting average in 88 games played. Overall, with all of this, a change of scenery may be the best thing for Adell, and a team like the Nationals seem like a great fit for him.

Adell would have the chance to compete for an everyday job with a rebuilding team like the Nats, so let's see if he ends up being moved there from here. On paper, there's a clear fit.
