Los Angeles Dodgers Sign Veteran Reliever

An interesting addition by the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Dodgers are signing pitcher Wander Suero to a minor-league contract.

Suero spent last season between the Los Angeles Angels' Triple-A affiliate and the independent Mexican League.

The thirty-one-year-old has a good arm and was a solid relief option for the Washington Nationals over four seasons, recording a pedestrian 4.61 ERA, 1.28 WHIP, and 200 strikeouts over 185.1 innings of work.

It's definitely a project for the Dodgers but, as we've seen over the years, there's no better team at finding and bringing out the best in ''washed-up'' pitchers than the Dodgers.

It will be interesting to see how Suero's time with the Dodgers plays out.
