The Colorado Rockies have signed pitcher Nate Hadley to a minor league contract.

Hadley made 18 relief appearances for the Rockies' Arizona Complex League affiliate this past season, recording a stellar 1.29 ERA, 1.24 WHIP, and 24 strikeouts over 21 innings of work.

The twenty-seven-year-old pitcher was the independent American Association's 2021 Rookie Pitcher of the Year, converting 13 saves along with a 1.56 ERA, 0.99 WHIP, and 44 strikeouts over 40.1 innings.

The Rockies continue to gradually move Hadley up the minor-league system, but he very much remains a developmental project for them.
