San Francisco Giants Re-Sign Outfielder

The San Francisco Giants have re-signed Mike Yastrzemski to a one-year, $6.1 million contract.

Yastrzemski is coming off of a season that saw him hit 17 home runs to go along with 57 RBIs and a .214 batting average. Overall, his numbers were a bit lower than they were in 2021, as he had an impressive 25-home run campaign. However, given his past success, we should expect to see him bounce back at the plate in 2023. With that, his excellent fielding ability will be welcomed back with open arms.

Yastrzemski has appeared in 448 career games over four MLB seasons, where he has 73 home runs, 218 RBIs, and a .242 batting average.
