Los Angeles Angels Outright Catcher

The Los Angeles Angels have outrighted Chad Wallach to Triple-A Salt Lake.

Wallach will now be heading into Spring Training off of the Angels' major league roster. Yet, hope is not lost for the 6-foot-2 catcher, as he can change things on that front by impressing during it. Furthermore, he received chances during this season with the Angels and has made appearances in each of the last six seasons, so he is a clear call-up candidate.

In 12 games this season with the Angels, Wallach had one home run, four RBIs, and a .143 batting average. Over the course of his 90-game career, he has four home runs, 24 RBIs, and a .198 batting average.
