Kyle Schwarber Has NSFW Reaction To Being No-Hit By Astros

The Houston Astros pulled off the first combined no-hitter in World Series history Wednesday night to tie things at 2 games apiece. But are the Philadelphia Phillies worried going forward? Not as far as Kyle Schwarber is concerned:

“I really don’t give a sh*t."

Schwarber was quite frank in his reaction that the results of Game 4 won't have any bearing on Game 5 or the rest of the series for the Phillies. “Nope. Move on tomorrow. It's cool, we’ll be in the history books, I guess.”

Schwarber was one of only three Phillies to reach base, as he drew a walk against Ryan Pressly in the 9th inning, the fourth pitcher to combine on the no-no.

Perhaps Schwarber was thinking of this impressive statistic (tongue in cheek) for teams that have been no-hit in the Fall Classic:

Yes, the Brooklyn Dodgers came back and won Game 6 in the 1956 Series after the New York Yankees' Don Larsen fired his perfect game. So, yeah... there's that.

Game 5 is set to go Thursday night in Philly, and for this one, the Phillies will be hoping that history does repeat itself—in the form of Justin Verlander.

The Astros' starter for tonight's game has never won a World Series start, and is 0-6 with a 6.07 ERA. He was rocked for five earned runs in five innings in Game 1, blowing an early Houston lead.

Maybe Schwarber does give a hoot about that history.
