MLB Rumors: Rockies Linked to Free-Agent Outfielder

According to Patrick Saunders, Brandon Nimmo is on the Colorado Rockies' "preliminary wish list."

The Rockies will be heading into this offseason with the hope of their improving their roster. After a winter of spending last year, Colorado completely fell flat in 2022, sporting a rough 68-94 record. Therefore, changes are surely needed, and Nimmo is exactly the kind of player that they should be targeting this offseason because of it.

The New York Mets are making it their priority to re-sign Nimmo, but nothing is set in stone. If we see Nimmo hit the open market, expect the Rockies to make a major push for him from here.

In 151 games last season, Nimmo had 16 home runs, 64 RBIs, and a .274 batting average.
