Yankees Activate Pitcher After Lengthy Absence

He's finally healthy.

The New York Yankees have activated pitcher Miguel Castro from the 60-day injured list.
Castro rejoins the Yankees' bullpen for Monday's series opener against the Texas Rangers.

He's been out since mid-July due to a right shoulder strain.

Castro got off to a great start this season, but faltered later on, posting a 4.00 ERA, 1.41 WHIP, and 30 strikeouts over 27 innings of work. In 32 relief appearances, he held a 5-0 record.

The Yankees acquired Castro from the New York Mets back in April for left-hander Joely Rodriguez.
