Dodgers Call Up Starter

He made an immediate impact upon his return to the majors.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have recalled pitcher Andre Jackson from Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Jackson takes Michael Grove's place on the active roster after Grove landed on the injured list with a left knee contusion.

On Sunday, Jackson threw four innings of work in relief against the Colorado Rockies, allowing four hits, two runs, two walks and striking out three.

For the Dodgers this season, Jackson has posted a strong 1.86 ERA, 1.34 WHIP, and nine strikeouts over 9.2 innings of work.
