Diamondbacks Select Contract of Infielder

He will get one more opportunity in the majors in the 2022 season. 

The Arizona Diamondbacks have selected the contract of infielder Jaker Hager from Triple-A Reno. 

The #Dbacks selected INF Jake Hager from Triple-A Reno and placed INF Emmanuel Rivera on the 10-day injured list (fractured left wrist.)

Hager joins the Diamondbacks for the final few days of the regular season after Emmanuel Rivera suffered a fractured left wrist.

The twenty-nine-year-old has had just 50 at-bats in the majors this season, slashing .240/.345/.625, with three RBIs and four runs scored.

At the Triple-A level this season, Hager has slashed .261/.342/.391, with five home runs, 45 RBIs, eight stolen bases and 38 runs scored across 261 at-bats.
