Pittsburgh Pirates Call Up New Addition

After being claimed off waivers from the New York Yankees, Miguel Andujar has officially been called up to the Pittsburgh Pirates' major league roster.

Andujar is finally getting his fresh start and joining a bottom-of-the-barrel team like the Pirates could be the perfect situation for him to bounce back. The Pirates simply have nothing to play for right now, so the pressure is immensely low for Andujar. Thus, all he has to do is play his game.

Since his 27-home run campaign in 2018, Andujar has had trouble replicating that success due to injury and then limited chances with the Yankees. Yet, he is now in a position to receive more playing time, so it will be intriguing to see if the 27-year-old can get his career back on track from here.
