Brewers Recall Prospect Dominating the Minors

Now, this one's exciting.

The Milwaukee Brewers have promoted prospect Esteury Ruiz to the majors.

Ruiz came over to the Brewers in the trade that sent star closer Josh Hader to the San Diego Padres.

Ruiz is set to make his debut with the Brewers, after making his major league debut earlier this season with the Padres, going 6-for-27, with two RBIs and one stolen base over 14 games.

However, it's his minor league stats that are eye-opening. The twenty-three-year-old has hit an amazing .332 batting average, an equally impressive .450 on-base percentage and a .973 OPS. He's hit 13 home runs, 51 RBIs and a mind-blowing 70 stolen bases over 377 at-bats.

Ruiz is the Brewers' 8th-ranked prospect. He will be a valuable asset for speed in the late innings for the Brewers down the stretch.
