Starter Rejoins Nationals Rotation Tuesday

He hasn't pitched in a major league game since July 24th.

Erick Fedde is healthy now, however, and will return to the Washington Nationals rotation on Tuesday to start against the Seattle Mariners.

Pitcher Cory Abbott, who was in the rotation, will shift back to the bullpen upon Fedde's return.

The twenty-nine-year-old starter has been out since late July due to right shoulder inflammation.

Fedde returns to a pedestrian 4.95 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and 70 strikeouts over 92 innings this season. He's posted a 5-7 record.

Fedde is a former first-round pick (18th overall) of the Washington Nationals in the 2014 MLB Draft, however, he has not been able to find much success at the major league level up to this point in his career.
