Detroit Tigers Designate Pitcher For Assignment

The Detroit Tigers have made another roster move, as Derek Law has been designated for assignment.

Law was just called up to the Tigers' major league roster, but, unfortunately, his time on it is already complete. In his two appearances with Detroit this season, he had a 0-1 record to go along with a 4.50 ERA. Now, a trip to the waiver wire is likely on the way for the veteran.

Teams could view Law as an appealing option for their pitching depth, as he has a decent amount of MLB experience. In 178 career games, he sports a 10-6 record to go along with a 4.22 ERA.
