Cleveland Guardians Call Up Pitcher

The Cleveland Guardians are giving Hunter Gaddis a shot, as they are calling up Hunter Gaddis to their major league roster. With that, he will be starting in Friday's contest against the Houston Astros.

Gaddis is making his MLB debut against one of the top teams in the league, so it certainly won't be an easy outing for the rookie. It will be intriguing to see how he performs under the big challenge.

Gaddis has split this season between Double-A and Triple-A, where he has a 5-3 record and 4.07 ERA in 17 appearances. Yet, he has been quite solid in Triple-A, as his 1-0 record and 2.70 ERA show effectively. Let's see how he does with the Guardians from here.
