MLB Rumors: Los Angeles Dodgers & Miami Marlins Talking Trade

The Dodgers have interest in Marlins first baseman Garrett Cooper, according to Jon Heyman.

The Dodgers are once again viewed as contenders and are heading into the playoffs with the expectation of winning it all. Yet, with there being plenty of excellent teams in the league, it would make sense for them to add to their already strong lineup. Cooper would certainly be a very good addition.

Cooper has had a very good season and made his first All-Star Game because of it. In 84 games, he has seven home runs, 40 RBIs, and a .279 batting average. Overall, he would give them another strong player in their lineup, so let's see if the Dodgers find a way to get him to LA from here.
