Brewers Pitcher Progressing for Return After All-Star Break

Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Luis Perdomo started a minor league rehab assignment last week.

He made a pair of rehab appearances for Triple-A Nashville and impressed, striking out a pair batters in one of them.

Perdomo landed on the injured list in late May due to a right elbow effusion and is working his way back towards rejoining the Brewers' bullpen after the All-Star break.

The twenty-nine-year-old has pitched 10 innings for the Brewers this season, posting a very good 1.74 ERA, 1.06 WHIP, and three strikeouts.

The Brewers are right in the middle of the league in team ERA, sitting in 13th place with 3.84 team earned run average.

Perdomo will add some bullpen depth to the team.
