Cubs Outfielder Sent Down To Triple-A

Chicago Cubs outfielder Clint Frazier has cleared waivers. Due to this, he has now been sent down to Triple-A Iowa by the major league squad.

Frazier was aiming to have a bounce-back year with the Cubs, but that just didn't come to fruition. In 19 games, he had a .216 batting average and just didn't do enough to maintain his spot on their 40-man roster.

Frazier will now be aiming to impress in Triple-A in hopes of landing an eventual call-up back to the Cubs. Let's see if he can do just that.
