MLB Rumors: Orioles Shopping Pitcher

Without a single ounce of surprise, the Baltimore Orioles are in the bottom portion of the MLB standings this season. Due to this, they are destined to be sellers at the deadline, and Jordan Lyles has been coming up in trade talks because of it.

Lyles may not be the biggest name in the rumor mill, but he does have the potential to provide a playoff team with a bit more firepower in the bottom half of the rotation. In seven starts this season with the Orioles, he has a 2-3 record to go along with a 4.38 ERA.

Lyles also comes with a good amount of overall experience, too, so that also helps his value. In 296 career games between the Astros, Rockies, Padres, Brewers, Rangers, and Orioles, he has a 56-82 record and 5.18 ERA. We will have to wait and see where the 31-year-old finishes the 2022 season from here.
