Braves Designate Reliever For Assignment

The Atlanta Braves are continuing to make changes to their roster, as they now have designated Jacob Webb for assignment. This comes shortly after the club also did the same thing with Chadwick Tromp.

Webb is coming off of a bit of a rough season with the Braves. In 34 appearances, he had a 5-4 record and 4.19 ERA. Yet, it still wouldn't be surprising at all if another team takes a chance on him, as he had been successful before it. During the 2019 season as a rookie, he had a 1.39 ERA in 36 games and then followed that up with a perfect 0.00 ERA but in eight games.

It will be interesting to see if a team in need of some bullpen help will give Webb a call. He is somebody who could be worth taking a chance on when looking at his first two years in the league. However, we will have to wait and see what comes to fruition on that front.
