Kris Bryant and His Wife Had Special Gifts for Wrigley Employees

Kris Bryant returned to Wrigley Field this weekend in Chicago and the long-time Cubs third baseman, now a member of the San Francisco Giants, did not return empty handed. Bryant and his wife Jessica made each and every Wrigley employee cookies to show their appreciation for all their hard work for the past seven years.

According to reports, a lot of the time the opposing team's pitching staff show up to Wrigley with cookies, but this time around Bryant wanted to make sure he took control of his triumphant return. A small gesture that goes a long way and shows exactly everything you need to know about the person. Bryant met with the media about the snacks and had this to say:

It's easy to thank your hitting coach or your teammates or the people writing out your checks, but the people behind the scenes here really make this place go. They've been through a lot here.

Bryant will forever be a Cubs great. He brought a World Series to the Windy City after an infamous 108-year drought. Don't expect him to have to pay for cookies anytime soon in Chicago.
