ICYMI: A Record-Tying Triple Play for the Yankees!

Just last week, the New York Yankees set a club record with their second triple-play of the season. On Sunday, they tied a major league record with their third—this time a game-winner.

The Yankees become only the 8th team in the modern era to turn a trio of triple-killings in the same season. They also set the major league record by racking up their hat trick in just 31 days.

Closer Aroldis Chapman, who got himself into a 2-on, no out jam in the 9th, was blown away by the result. It was the second time this season he's been the benefit of this sort of Yankees' fielding gem this season.

“It was something incredible,” Chapman said. “When you say it, you almost don’t believe it.”
