Breaking: LA Dodgers Re-Sign 3-Time World Series Champion
It just wouldn't be right for the LA Dodgers to go for the 'Three-Peat' without their own 'Mr. October' on board. The team took care of that on Thurdsay, re-signing super utility man Kike Hernandez. The three-time Dodgers World Series champ made the announcement himself, keeping it short and sweet:
The Dodgers traded for Kiké Hernández back in 2023.

They’ve now won 2 World Series championships and re-signed him 3 times since then.
Welcome back, Kiké 🔥

"What up, Dodgers fans? Nice and simple: I'm back," Hernandez said.
It's the third time they've re-signed Hernandez just trading to reacquire him from the Boston Red Sox in 2023.
While his regular season performances with the Dodgers over the years have rarely been extraordinary, Hernandez always picks up the intensity, and the 'clutch gene', in the postseason.
Kike has five homers and 17 RBIs in LA's three playoff runs that resulted in a world championship (2020, 2024, 2025), many of them of the clutch variety.
He'll be entering his 13th major league season, and 10th in Dodger Blue.
Last season, in 92 games, he appeared all over the diamond, as usual, and even pitched five times. He has played every single position aside from catcher over his past 2 1/2 years in LA.
Hernandez has a .236 lifetime average in the regular season, but that bumps up to .272 in the postseason over his career. And his .707 regular season OPS soars to .826 when the lights are brightest in October.
