Angels Sign Versatile Former All-Star
The Los Angeles Angels have dipped into the free agent market to sign a versatile veteran in Adam Frazier, a former All-Star.
The Angels have signed Adam Frazier to a minor league deal. He will be in big league camp.

He’s a LH hitting infielder who can play multiple positions so he’ll have a good shot at making the team.
The 34-year-old, 10-year veteran, is in on a minor league contract with a spring training invite. But unless he really has a tough spring, he's almost certain to break camp with the Angels due to his versatility in the field, and the fact that he's a left-handed bat, something the Halos are in desperate need of.
He also brings a positive clubhouse presence.
Angles manager Kurt Suzuki has already said that Frazier will get most of his run at second base, but will also see some time at third base and in the outfield. Suzuki is obviously counting on Frazier to be a contributor for him in many roles.
“He brings some veteran presence and versatility,” Suzuki said of Frazier. “He’s competing, like the rest of the guys. We’ll see how it goes, but he looks to be in great shape. Obviously, I played against him a lot, and know what he can do, both offensively and defensively. So having that veteran presence for that competition is going to be awesome.”
Frazier had seen a few down years since his All-Star appearance in 2021 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, but rebounded in 2025. He posted a .267/.319/.365 slash line in 459 plate appearances, split between the Pirates and the KC Royals last season (his second stint with each team).
His .684 OPS, while not world-beating, was more than 100 points better than what he mustered up in 2024. And down the stretch with KC, he was even better, batting .283 with a .722 OPS.
Frazier has a lifetime average of .264 with a .709 OPS.
