Breaking: Huge Announcement From Clayton Kershaw & Dodgers

Los Angeles Dodgers legendary pitcher Clayton Kershaw, after going year-to-year for the past few seasons, has officially decided that 2025 is his final season. He will be retiring at the end of the year.

Kershaw is a sure-fire first ballot future Hall of Famer, a three-time NL Cy Young Winner, MVP in 2014, 11-time All-Star, and 2x World Series champion (2020, 2024).

He has 3,039 strikeouts, and is the major league active player career leader in ERA (2.54), winning pct. (.698, 222-96), and ERA+ (154).

He is one of only three active pitchers to record 200 career wins (along with Justin Verlander and Max Scherzer), and is only the 4th lefty to reach the 3,000K mark (accomplished earlier this season).

Now 37, Kershaw made yet another All-Star game this season, and at 10-2, is still a critical part of the Dodgers rotation, as they look to win another championship.

He'll have two more starts in the regular season, and then his final postseason dance will begin. His final home start at Chavez Ravine comes on Friday night against, who else, the San Francisco Giants.
