Veteran Shortstop To Play On In 2024, Even If It's Not In San Francisco

The San Francisco Giants have had the pleasure of having Brandon Crawford play shortstop for the better part of the past thirteen seasons, but now, it appears they may finally have a new starter at the position for the 2024 campaign.

The team gave him a fantastic sendoff after his contract came to an end with the 2023 season, and while most believed that would mark his retirement, there's now a chance that the 36-year old may lace up his cleats once again in 2024.

A recent report has revealed that he hopes to return in 2024 whether that be with San Francisco or another organization, and while he had a down year in 2023, hitting just .194 with seven home runs and 38 RBI, his defense remains a major positive, so there's a great chance he'll find a new squad soon.
