MLB Rumors: Multiple Teams Have Expressed Interest In Cincinnati Reds Star

 

The Cincinnati Reds took a big step forward in 2023 behind the breakout season of Elly De La Cruz and other young standout names, but with the lack of depth that other playoff teams possess, it appears they are still a fair way away from competing at the highest level.

Now, it appears they are drawing plenty of trade interest in several players, with the most popular of all being Jonathan India, the 26-year old second baseman that's had a solid three campaigns to start his MLB career.

In 2023, India hit .244 with 17 home runs and 61 RBI, and with a talented young core, if they can get a solid return for him, this could be a team 1-2 years away from being a genuine contender in the NL Central and the National League.
