San Francisco Giants Interview Three Internal Candidates For Vacant Manager Role

The San Francisco Giants started the 2023 season strong, but unfortunately they fell off in a big way late in the season, missing the post-season for the third time in Manager Gabe Kapler's four year run with the team, ultimately leading to his dismissal from the role.

There's expected to be many candidates for the role, but for now, the Giants have stuck to internal interviews, with one making history, as assistant coach Alyssa Nakken has become the first female coach in MLB history to interview for a managerial role.

Beyond that, the team have also interview Kai Correa, the coach who took over from Kapler to end the season, going 1-2 in their series with the Dodgers, as well as third base coach Mark Hallberg, and with a talented young roster, if they can get this hire right, we could be looking at a playoff contender in 2024.
