Report: Former New York Mets General Manager Under Investigation From MLB

 

Earlier today, the New York Mets announced the surprising departure of General Manager Billy Eppler, and now, it appears we may officially know the reason why.

According to a recent report, Eppler is now under investigation from Major League Baseball for improper use of the Injured List during his time in New York, and after moving on from the job with the Mets, this could be another mark against his name.

During Eppler's stint with the Mets, the team unfortunately failed to fire in any possible way, as they were the biggest spenders in baseball last winter to miss the playoffs in 2023, and now, he will look to clear his name and move forward to another job.
