Report: Chicago Cubs Promote Talented Top Prospect

The Chicago Cubs have surprised everyone in 2023 as they're in prime position to land a playoff spot behind an incredible year from Marcus Stroman, Cody Bellinger and others, and now, they're injecting some new blood into the team.

According to a report, the Cubs are now officially promoting top prospect Pete Crow-Armstrong, a 21-year old left handed outfielder who was drafted in the first-round by the New York Mets back in the 2020 MLB Draft.

In 107 games this season between AA and AAA, Armstrong has hit an impressive .283 with 20 home runs and 82 RBI's, and brings plenty of defensive versatility to the big leagues, and now, this injection of young talent may be the thing that catapults the Cubs from fringe playoff team to genuine contender in the National League.
