San Francisco Giants Place Deadline Acquisition On Injured List
The San Francisco Giants have had a fantastic 2023 season thus far, as they are firmly entrenched at the top of the National League Wild Card race, but at the trade deadline, it's safe to say that their fans were quite disappointed with the return.
Despite major needs up and down the lineup and in the starting rotation, the Giants lone acquisition at the big league level was veteran outfielder AJ Pollock, and after less than a week with the Giants, he is now headed to the Injured List.
At the moment, it's just the 10-day IL with a left oblique strain, but unless he and the rest of the Giants can get healthy, this is a team that may struggle down the stretch, and they'll look back on the deadline as a major missed opportunity.#SFGiants roster moves:
