Report: Atlanta Braves Land Left Handed Pitcher From Texas

The Atlanta Braves have been the National League's best team throughout the 2023 MLB season, and as the trade deadline approaches for the NL East leaders, they've made a few significant additions to their team today.

Along with Pierce Johnson from the Rockies, the Braves have now added former Texas Rangers lefty Taylor Hearn, who has shown experience both as a starter and out of the bullpen, more depth for a team full of fantastic players.

In five seasons at the MLB level, Hearn has put together 229 innings with an ERA of 5.11 (which may be slightly inflated by the 108 ERA he has from nothing but a 0.1 inning outing in his debut season), but over the past two years, he's put together over 100 innings in each season, and with the new environment in Atlanta, this is his chance to take the next step.
