MLB Rumors: NL West Team Linked To Former Division Rival

 

After a fantastic first half of the season, the MLB is now approaching the annual trade deadline, and with more playoff spots than ever and many teams ready to compete, the rumour mill is in overdrive at the moment.

One team that have been a surprise this year are the San Francisco Giants, who are in the market for starting pitching and an outfielder, and now, MLB writer Mark Feinsand has linked them to a former fierce rival in the Chicago Cubs Cody Bellinger.

Bellinger has been red-hot as of late, taking his season stats to .302 with 11 bombs and 31 RBI, which will be aided with grand slam in today's game, and while the Giants may need to give up a significant asset to land him, he could be a game changer.
