MLB Home Run Derby Field Officially Finalized

 

The 2023 MLB All-Star Game is just days away, and as usual, one of the most anticipated event of the weekend will be the ever popular Home Run Derby, and once again, as the field has been revealed, it may be one of the most star-studded in recent memory.

Again in 2023 we will see four first-round matchups before heading into the semi-finals and ultimately the final showdown, which has produced plenty of drama and excitement in recent years, and in 2023, we could see the most competitive bracket of all time. 

The Home Run Derby bracket is out, and it looks like this (seeds in parentheses):

Luis Robert (1) vs. Adley Rutschman (8)

Pete Alonso (2) vs. Julio Rodríguez (7)

Mookie Betts (3) vs. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (6)

Adolis García (4) vs. Randy Arozarena (5)

First up is Luis Robert vs. Adley Rutschman in a battle of young stars, then there is the two-time Champ Pete Alonso taking on young sensation Julio Rodriguez. Next up we have Mookie Betts taking on Vladimir Guerrero Jr. in a battle of youth vs. experience, before Adolis Garcia takes on Randy Arozarena in a wild card matchup, and with so much young talent, this should be another incredible event.
