New York Yankees Starter Makes History In Latest Outing

The New York Yankees have struggled to build significant momentum in 2023 due to injuries and struggles, both at the plate and on the mound, but Wednesday nights game was just a perfect example of what a weird and brilliant sport baseball is.

After allowing 10 runs (8 earned) over 3.1 innings in his last start, Yankees starter Domingo German took to the mound on Wednesday night against the Oakland Athletics, and ended the night as a major part of baseball history, as he hurled the 24th perfect game in Major League Baseball history.

It was a dominant performance from the whole team in the 11-0 victory, as German tossed 9 strikeouts and looked utterly dominant, and for a team that's seen such struggles, this could be a major turning point in their season as German goes down in history.
