Heartbreaking Update On Washington Nationals Superstar Pitcher

The Washington Nationals once had the most dominant pitching staff in all of baseball when they were led by Stephen Strasburg, Anibal Sanchez and Max Scherzer en route to their first World Series, but today, those names are all in very different places.

Scherzer is starring for the Mets and Sanchez officially announced his retirement recently, but for Strasburg, things couldn't be going any worse, as he has now officially been shut down from all physical activity following 'severe' nerve damage back in April.

This is the latest in a string of unfortunate injury setbacks, with many believing this could be the end of his career, and if it is, it's safe to say that he will go down as one of the most talented pitchers of all-time, who went on a post-season run for the ages back in 2019.
