Report: Pittsburgh Pirates Veteran Star Has No Plans To Retire This Off-Season

The Pittsburgh Pirates are off to a great start in 2023, finding themselves right in the mix of the National League Central Division, and while the youth on their team has been a big part of that, the return of veteran Andrew McCutchen has also been a fantastic story.

Despite being in his 15th season (10th with the Pirates), Cutch has once again turned back the clock this year, posting a .269 average with 8 Home Runs and 20 RBI's on the year, and now, he's made his intentions clear to return once again in 2024, with his wish being that he remains in Pittsburgh.

Ultimately, McCutchen is going to go down as one of the best Pirates of all-time, as 2024 would be his 11th season with the team, and with 211 Home Runs, 745 RBI's and a .290 average in his time with the team, bringing him back next year just makes sense for both parties.
